Thursday, December 15, four bands from Rotterdam will play in Baroeg. This event is organized by local organization LOUD. A new organization that focuses on ambitious musicians from Rotterdam. By organizing live showcases throughout the city they want to give musicians the opportunity to grow in the music industry.
It is an evening filled with rock, punk and metal. The evening starts with the band Indigo Pastel, an indie rock band with positive reviews from Giel Beelen, Pinguin Radio, 3voor12 and airplay on 3FM, among others. Most of the music was written during burnout followed by a covid-19 quarantine. Next on the program is the band Graftak, who have also previously played at Baroeg Open Air. They bring a fun festive evening with punk, ska reggae and folk from Rotterdam soil. The last two bands of the evening are Vermin and Lijkschouwer. As soon as they take the stage they try to blow you out of your shoes with their ferocious metal riffs. Vermin, formed in the Botlek, just makes your evening exciting with their mix of diverse music. Coroner is the perfect band to end an evening with. Coroner alternates from the quiet vibes to hard vibes in a split second.
