This week’s Action webshop selection moves easily from working at home to switching off afterwards. Our picks include an affordable portable monitor and electric sit-stand desk, followed by a tabletop pizza oven and two products for making more use of your outdoor space during the remaining summer evenings.

This week’s Action webshop theme
Action adds new online products and deals every Monday at 12:00. This week, some of the most interesting additions are less about decoration and more about making the home work better, whether that means creating a proper workstation, having friends over or getting more use from a balcony or terrace.
At the time of writing, the selected products were available through the Action webshop. The individual product pages do not show a common end date, so stock and availability may change.
Denver 15.6-inch portable monitor
Price: €69.95
Denver 15.6-inch portable monitor
A second screen can make a considerable difference when working from a laptop, but a permanent desktop monitor is not ideal in every home. The Denver PMO-15601 offers a more flexible alternative.
The 15.6-inch IPS display has a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and connects through USB-C or HDMI. Action lists it as compatible with laptops, game consoles and smartphones when using the appropriate connection. It also has two built-in speakers and comes with a magnetic stand.
At just 1.3 kilograms and 1.3 centimetres thick when folded, it can be put away when the working day is over or taken along when working elsewhere. That makes it particularly interesting when a dining table or another shared surface also doubles as your home office.
It does not have a touchscreen, webcam or adjustable-height stand, so think of it as a straightforward additional display rather than a complete workstation in itself.

Electric sit-stand desk
Price: €99
Electric sit-stand desk
The second work-from-home pick is considerably less portable.
Action’s black electric sit-stand desk measures 120 × 70 centimetres and can be adjusted from 72 to 118 centimetres high. The control panel has a display and three memory settings, allowing different preferred working heights to be stored.
The desk can carry up to 70 kilograms and includes collision detection and overheating protection. Its 120-centimetre width gives enough room for a laptop, monitor and keyboard without requiring the footprint of a particularly large office desk.
It arrives unassembled and weighs around 23 kilograms. Action recommends two people for assembly, so this is very much a piece of furniture rather than something you casually move around the apartment every few days.

Tristar mini pizza oven for four
Price: €29.95
Tristar mini pizza oven for four
The Tristar PD-4908 is a tabletop pizza maker designed for four people, with four individual pizza spatulas included. The ceramic-coated cooking plate reaches a maximum temperature of 220°C, while a dough cutter is also supplied.
At 28.5 × 28.5 centimetres, it is compact enough to sit in the middle of a dining table. Everyone can assemble and cook their own small pizza rather than preparing one large pizza in the kitchen.
There are a couple of limitations worth knowing before ordering. The temperature cannot be adjusted, there is no automatic shut-off function and the removable components are not listed as dishwasher-safe.
Still, at €29.95, this is one of the more distinctive products in this week’s selection, particularly as something to bring out during an evening with friends.

Retractable windscreen
Price: €39.95
Retractable windscreen
Dutch summer weather and a completely windless evening are not always on speaking terms.
This retractable black windscreen measures 160 centimetres high and can extend to a maximum width of three metres. It attaches to a wall or fence at one side and a fixed end point at the other, then rolls back into its housing when it is no longer needed.
As well as blocking wind, the screen can provide additional privacy on a terrace or in a garden. The material has a weather-resistant and UV-resistant coating, and mounting hardware is included.
Because installation requires suitable fixed mounting points, this is one product where checking your available space before ordering is particularly important. Renters should also consider whether they are permitted to attach it permanently to the relevant wall or fence.

Solar bar table with lighting
Price: €69.95
Solar bar table with lighting
The solar bar table is probably this week’s most unusual outdoor pick.
The black table measures 58 × 58 centimetres and stands 105 centimetres high, giving it a relatively small footprint. Integrated solar-powered lighting offers warm white, cool white and coloured RGB modes, with an estimated operating time of six to eight hours after charging.
Action describes the table as suitable for indoor and outdoor use, although its specifications also state that the table itself is not UV-resistant or weather-resistant. That is worth paying attention to if you intend to leave it permanently exposed outside.
The size makes it more plausible on a modest terrace or balcony than a full outdoor dining table. At 19 kilograms, however, it is still a substantial piece of furniture.

Our picks for different types of home
The Denver portable monitor is probably the most versatile product in this week’s selection. It requires little permanent space and can disappear into a cupboard or bag once you are finished working.
If you have a dedicated work area, the electric sit-stand desk offers considerably more functionality at €99, although delivery adds another €14.99.
The mini pizza oven is the easiest impulse purchase of the group at €29.95, especially if you regularly have friends or family over.
Outdoors, the solar bar table makes the strongest case where floor space is limited, while the retractable windscreen is better suited to a terrace or garden where permanent mounting is possible.
