Description

Dutch singer-songwriter Bertolf brings Bluefinger 2 to LantarenVenster in Rotterdam, continuing his deep dive into the bluegrass music he grew up with. In 2022 he travelled to Nashville to record the first Bluefinger album with some of his biggest heroes from the bluegrass world, including Jerry Douglas and Stuart Duncan. After touring the Netherlands with top players from the national bluegrass scene, he has now followed it up with Bluefinger Vol. 2.

The promise for this Rotterdam show is pretty clear: instrumental virtuosity, infectious joy in playing, and rich multi-part harmonies. So this looks like one for anyone who likes their roots music precise, warm, and played by people who are clearly having a very good time.
