HAPPENING 14 DEC 2025 | The popular Waluw Design & Vintage Market returns to De Doelen with its festive Xmas Edition – XXL. The expanded edition promises a stylish mix of vintage, design and fashion, making it one of Rotterdam’s most anticipated pre-Christmas events.
Due to the large selection of mid-century furniture and designer pieces, this year’s market extends into the iconic Feestzaal, which offers city views and the perfect setting for vintage design lovers.
A vintage department store for one day
Visitors can browse unique finds in fashion, bric-à-brac, curiosities, jewellery and old-school vinyl in the Willem Burger Hall and Jurriaanse Kwartier. Together, these spaces will transform De Doelen into a full-fledged vintage department store for one day only.
Guests can also enjoy an open bar, treats from Maher’s Kitchen and pastries by PetitJean, accompanied by the sounds of DJ Richelle Soigni. Doors to the “Waluw Vintage Department Store” open at 10:00.

The Waluw Design & Vintage Market is still open for a limited number of participants selling design, vintage, vinyl, or other distinctive goods. Clothing spots are already sold out.
Organisers encourage local sellers to join this unique indoor market that combines shopping, design and festive cheer under one roof.
Location and directions
De Doelen is located at Kruisplein 30, next to Rotterdam Central Station, and is easily accessible by public transport. Visitors can enter via the Jurriaanse Hall entrance.
