Upcoming Typical Tropical events in April 2025
Rotterdam's well-known dance school Typical Tropical has unveiled its schedule for April 2025, including festive events and dance lessons throughout the city.
Celebration of 15 years of LatinXpress at Podium Grounds
On Saturday, 5 April, LatinXpress will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special event at Podium Grounds. The evening will feature a variety of performances and workshops, including a Bachata Dominican workshop by Francisco & Xiomara. The event will also showcase live performances by the Earthquake Brassband and saxophonist Wawa, who will accompany the DJs throughout the night.

Dance courses and trial lessons from 14 to 20 April
Between Monday, 14 April, and Sunday, 20 April, Typical Tropical will begin new Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba courses. This includes both five-week and ten-week programmes, as well as introductory trial lessons.

Free Latincafé Dox at Nieuwe Luxor Theatre
On Wednesday, 16 April, Typical Tropical will host a free Latincafé DOX event at the Nieuwe Luxor Theatre. DJ Carlos will provide an evening of Salsa, Bachata, and occasional Merengue or Kizomba music.
