ROTTERDAM, 22 April 2025 – Nhow Rotterdam has announced a series of dance-focused events, with weekend DJ nights and seasonal parties aimed at both guests and the public. The hotel is participating in a wider initiative that links dance and well-being through movement and music.
Nhow Rotterdam joins 'dance nhow, change now' programme
The nhow hotel in Rotterdam has joined an international initiative by nhow Hotels called dance nhow, change now, which explores the connection between movement and mental well-being.
Developed in collaboration with British dance psychologist Dr Peter Lovatt, the programme is based on research into the psychological effects of movement, dance, and expression. Though launched at nhow Berlin, the concept is being rolled out across all nhow locations worldwide, including Rotterdam.
Regular DJ nights every weekend
Guests and locals in Rotterdam can now take part in DJ evenings every Friday and Saturday night at the nhow Rotterdam hotel. These sessions run from 21:30 to 01:00 and are open to both hotel guests and the public. The events aim to create a social space centred around music, dance, and self-expression.
Themed parties throughout the year
In addition to its weekly events, nhow Rotterdam has confirmed several themed parties throughout 2025:
-
King’s Night on 26 April, from 21:00 to 01:00
-
Summer salsa party, expected once or twice during summer (dates to be confirmed)
-
Halloween party in October, from 21:00 to 01:00
-
New Year’s Eve party from 23:00 to 03:00
Connecting movement and creativity
Although the broader dance nhow, change now programme includes travelling photo exhibitions and collaborations with international dancers, nhow Rotterdam’s focus remains on local engagement through music and themed events. The goal is to foster a sense of community and encourage people to experience the mental and emotional benefits of dancing.
