KINK FEST is coming to the Netherlands for the first time, with its first Rotterdam edition taking over Now&Wow from 23:00 until 06:00. Presented by Kinky Pink, the event brings together a techno dancefloor, live performances, social activities and what the organisers call the Kinky Museum (Live).
The organisers expect around 1,000 visitors for the Rotterdam edition. Rather than positioning the night purely as a club event, KINK FEST places a strong emphasis on self-expression, meeting people and discovering different aspects of kink in an environment where consent and privacy form an important part of the rules.
What to expect at KINK FEST Rotterdam
The main dancefloor is centred on techno, with One Life from Lithuania opening at 23:00, followed by Symbiotica B2B Mincore at midnight. Germany's Latex Fine takes over at 02:00, with Dutch DJ AnG scheduled from 04:00.
Performances are spread throughout the night. Antartica and Victoria/VIXX will present the shibari performance Platinum Tournament at 01:00, followed by MistrixxJ and Red Rider with Lost in London at 02:00. Luka Mokka presents the special-effects performance Whisper Of The Earth at 03:00, Antartica returns for the pole performance Venusian Mania at 04:00 and Venik closes the performance programme with the interactive Try at 05:00.
Away from the main stage, the Kinky Museum (Live) will occupy several areas of Now&Wow. Different practices and interests will be represented by people who can demonstrate, explain and answer questions. There will also be social games between 23:00 and 03:00, including matching activities and Naked Twister, alongside a Dating & Friending Area until 04:00. A couples-only Cuddle Area runs from 01:00 until 06:00.
Dress code, consent and privacy
KINK FEST has a compulsory kinky dress code, so regular club clothing will not be enough to get you through the door. The organisers suggest outfits using materials and styles such as latex, leather, lace, mesh, lingerie and other forms of fetishwear, bodywear or more experimental clothing.
The event is strictly 21+. A dedicated Consent & Safety Team will be present throughout the night, and visitors are expected to ask for consent before physical interaction. Participation in activities is optional, and the organisers explicitly state that visitors can simply observe if they prefer.
There is also a strict phone policy. Phones must remain in lockers during the event, meaning photography and filming by visitors are not permitted. This is intended to protect the privacy of people attending and create an environment in which visitors can express themselves without appearing unexpectedly on someone else's camera roll.
