Kwasi settles the Hristov trilogy
Kwasi entered GLORY 109 as a two-division champion with a GLORY-listed record of 46 wins, 6 losses and 2 draws. His victory over Hristov moved that record to 47-6-2 and marked the fifth defence of his welterweight world title.
The fight settled a rivalry that stood at one win apiece. Kwasi beat Hristov by unanimous decision in their first meeting at GLORY 98 in Rotterdam in February 2025. Hristov answered with a unanimous-decision victory in their COLLISION 8 tournament semi-final in December 2025, when Kwasi's world title was not at stake.
Their third meeting was less ambiguous. All five judges scored the five-round GLORY 109 title fight 50-45 for Kwasi, giving the Dutch champion a 2-1 lead in the series. Hristov left Rotterdam with his GLORY-listed professional record at 20-6.

Osaro stops Zimmerman
Tariq “Cookie” Osaro supplied the night's biggest heavyweight finish, stopping Errol “The Bonecrusher” Zimmerman with punches at 1:54 of the second round.
Osaro, a former interim GLORY heavyweight champion, scored the stoppage against one of the division's most experienced names and moved his GLORY-listed record to 32-5-1 with 18 knockouts.
Zimmerman's record moved to 112-22-1 with 45 knockouts.

Proving Grounds points towards December
The Welterweight Proving Grounds were designed to give contenders an opportunity to strengthen their cases for places in GLORY's eight-man welterweight Grand Prix.
Mohammed Boutasaa, Jay Overmeer, Dmitry Menshikov, Antonio Krajinovic, Anwar Ouled-Chaib, Mohammed Hamdi, Nikola Todorovic and Fikri Sabri all left Rotterdam with victories.
Kwasi also has December in his sights. GLORY says the champion will defend his welterweight title in the eight-man, one-night tournament at COLLISION 10 on 12 December 2026 at GelreDome in Arnhem.
That gives GLORY 109 a role beyond one Rotterdam fight night. Its Proving Grounds results helped shape the welterweight picture ahead of the promotion's end-of-year event.
