Xiaomi opens first Benelux physical store in Rotterdam

Xiaomi, the producer of smartphones and IoT devices opened its first physical Mi Store in the Benelux. The store is located on Korte Lijnbaan, in Rotterdam's shopping district.

The opening of the first Mi Store in Rotterdam is in line with Xiaomi's strategy to combine online sales with the offline experience of a physical shop. The Mi Store offers Mi fans and customers the opportunity to experience Xiaomi's smartphone portfolio and smart ecosystems and products in real life.

For the first time in the Benelux, the entire smartphone range and the ecosystem products together are displayed in the 510 square meter Mi Store. In addition, consumers can contact the Mi Store team for service and guidance. Various smartphones are on display, such as the Redmi Note series, the brand-new Mi 10T series and the most recent POCO X3 NFC smartphone. Next to smartphones, different wearables, kitchen applications and care products are also presented.

The region is a priority for us in Western Europe, which in turn is a priority in our overall global expansion. The Benelux region has relatively high purchasing power and tremendous high-end potential, making it an ideal testing ground for Xiaomi to further increase its brand awareness".
