HAPPENING 6–7 MAR '27 | The Rotterdam Tattoo & Lifestyle Convention returns to Rotterdam Ahoy for its 16th edition, bringing more than 350 national and international tattoo artists together for two days of live tattooing, contests, entertainment, showcars, collectibles and lifestyle stalls.
16th Rotterdam Tattoo Convention returns to Ahoy in 2027
The Rotterdam Tattoo & Lifestyle Convention returns to Rotterdam Ahoy on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March 2027. The 16th edition takes place in Hall 4 and is organised by Ink n Art Events. More than 350 national and international tattoo artists are expected to take part. Visitors can discover work spanning styles including realism, black and grey, traditional, fine line, Japanese, lettering and blackwork. If you want to get tattooed during the weekend, you can arrange an appointment with a participating artist in advance, while some artists will also offer walk-in sessions during the convention.

Tattoo contests, showcars and lifestyle culture
Tattooing is only part of the weekend. The convention will also feature professional tattoo contests, entertainment, showcars, art, collectibles and lifestyle exhibitors selling clothing, jewellery, accessories and merchandise.
A dedicated TCG area adds trading cards and collectibles to the programme in 2027. Separate TCG-only tickets are available, with the option to upgrade to full convention access during the event.
The organiser has also published an extensive tattoo-competition programme covering categories including fine line, script and lettering, blackwork, black and grey, colour, old school, neo traditional and collaboration work, culminating in Best of Day and Best of Show awards.
Opening hours
Rotterdam Ahoy currently lists the convention from 11:00 to 22:00 on Saturday 6 March and from 10:00 to 20:00 on Sunday 7 March.
Tickets for Rotterdam Tattoo Convention 2027
Standard full-event admission is €25 for Saturday or Sunday and €40 for the weekend. At the time of writing, the official ticket shop is offering online tickets at €22.50 for one day or €37.50 for the weekend. As these are promotional rates, prices may change before the event.
TCG-only admission currently costs €10 for Saturday or Sunday and €17.50 for the weekend. TCG tickets can be upgraded to full convention access during the event.
Children under six can enter free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets will also be available at the entrance.

Directions to Rotterdam Ahoy
Rotterdam Ahoy is at Ahoyweg 10 in Rotterdam-Zuid. Zuidplein metro and bus station is around a five-minute walk from the venue. Ahoy is also accessible by bicycle and car, with bicycle parking and more than 2,500 car-parking spaces available around the complex.
