Family concerts by Rotterdam Philharmonic light up December

ROTTERDAM, 16 October 2025 — This December, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra invites families to experience the joy of classical music with two enchanting holiday performances designed especially for children: The Sint Sing-Along and The Nutcracker. Both concerts take place at the iconic De Doelen, right in the heart of Rotterdam.

A magical introduction to classical music

Why wait to introduce children to classical music when they can already experience its magic now? The Rotterdam Philharmonic proves that classical music is far from dull — it’s lively, imaginative, and accessible to even the youngest listeners.

The Sint Sing-Along (ages 3+)

A festive sing-along filled with classic Sinterklaas songs, storytelling, and cheerful fun. Before the concert, children can earn their “Hulppiet Diploma” at a playful parcours in the foyer — open one hour before the show.

Afterwards, little visitors can meet Sinterklaas himself for a photo moment!

📅 Date: Wednesday 19 November
🎟️ Tickets: €12.50 (children up to 18) / €21 (adults)
