HAPPENING 17 May 2025 | Eleven years of craft brewing excellence will be celebrated at the Kaapse Anniversary Beer Festival 2025, bringing together enthusiasts for a unique event in Rotterdam's Keile District.

Celebrating 11 years of craft brewing

This festival, organised by Kaapse Brouwers, marks a significant milestone celebrating over a decade of craft brewing achievements. It promises a full day of fine beers, local and international flavours, and engaging activities.

A global gathering of brewers

Guest breweries present at the Kaapse Anniversary Beer Festival in 2025 include, among others, Sleeping Village Brewing from Norway, Uncharted Brew Co. and Nanobrasserie de l'Ermitage from Belgium, La Pirata Brewing and Laugar Brewery from Spain, Rascals Brewing from Ireland, and Dutch favourites Brouwerij Jopen and Baxbier Brewery. With such a strong international lineup, beer lovers are in for an unforgettable tasting experience. A special 'Rotterdam Beer Bar' will also highlight local brewing talent, showcasing nearly all Rotterdam brewers.

Educational opportunities and entertainment

Attendees can enhance their brewing knowledge through various masterclasses and workshops. These sessions will offer insights into the brewing process and different beer styles. Additionally, the festival atmosphere will be enriched with music from several DJs and a selection of food stands catering to all tastes.

Directions to the venue

De Kaai is accessible via public transport. From the Wilhelminaplein metro stop, the venue is a 12-minute walk along the Koningshaven. The path includes views of the river, bridges, and city skyline.

Alternatively, the water taxi is an option. Board at Leuvenhaven (stops 47 or 49) and disembark at Nassaukade (stop 28).
