ROTTERDAM, 4 August 2026 – Dudok Rotterdam has introduced The Dudok Breakfast, a permanent morning concept available daily at its restaurant on the Meent. The new menu combines familiar breakfast staples with lower prices, as Dudok seeks to strengthen its role as a city-centre meeting place early in the day.
The concept launched on Monday 3 August and is intended as a lasting addition rather than a temporary summer promotion. Guests can visit for anything from a quick coffee and croissant to a longer breakfast with friends, colleagues or business contacts.
A permanent morning concept
“Breakfast is much more than the first meal of the day,” said Peter Potter, Director of Hospitality & Events at Dudok Horeca Groep. “It is a moment to start calmly, meet colleagues or friends, read the newspaper or begin a busy working day well. With The Dudok Breakfast, we want to bring that feeling back.”
The breakfast selection includes freshly baked croissants, bread, coffee, fresh juices and a range of morning dishes. Dudok says it has also lowered its breakfast prices as part of the introduction, although the announcement does not list the individual dishes or their new prices.

Breakfast in central Rotterdam
The concept is aimed at several types of morning visitor, including people working in the city centre, tourists, remote workers and guests arranging an early business meeting. Dudok’s spacious interior and central location make it possible to accommodate both short visits and slower breakfasts.
Dudok Rotterdam opens daily at 09:00 and remains open until 23:00. Breakfast is served from the start of the day, after which the restaurant continues with lunch, drinks, dinner and its familiar selection of cakes. Current menus and reservations are available through the official Dudok Rotterdam website.
A familiar Rotterdam meeting place
Dudok Rotterdam has occupied its prominent location on the Meent for more than three decades. The restaurant is housed in a building designed by Dutch architect Willem Marinus Dudok and has developed into a familiar meeting point in the city centre.
Its apple pie remains closely associated with the Dudok name, but the venue operates throughout the day as a café, brasserie and restaurant. The Dudok Breakfast shifts some of that attention towards the morning, without changing the broader all-day character of the establishment.
