ROTTERDAM, 18 December 2025 – From Friday 2 January 2026, Celest’s skybar in De Zalmhaven opens to individual visitors on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can head up without an entry fee, order cocktails and bites, and take in a 360-degree view over the Rotterdam skyline.
Celest sits 190 metres high in De Zalmhaven and is opening the skybar specifically for walk-in style nights at the weekend. On both evenings, a DJ will provide the music while you settle in with drinks and small plates.
Celest skybar in De Zalmhaven opens on Friday and Saturday nights in Rotterdam
The skybar is set up as an evening out above the city, with a drinks list that includes cocktails plus an assortment of other beverages. Food is positioned as bites rather than a full dinner menu, so it fits best if you want a late-afternoon start that turns into a night out.
You’ll be able to visit every Friday and Saturday evening, with doors opening at 17:00 and the skybar running until 01:00.
Rotterdam skyline views in De Zalmhaven are offered with a DJ and 360-degree panorama
The big draw is the view: Celest describes a 360-degree panorama over Rotterdam from one of the city’s highest public viewpoints. If you like seeing familiar landmarks from a completely different angle, this is the kind of place where you’ll end up spending half the night pointing out spots you know.
Music is part of the weekend format, with a DJ scheduled on both Friday and Saturday nights.
Celest restaurant stays available for group bookings for business and private events in Rotterdam
