TwitchCon Europe 2026 in Rotterdam will feature its first dedicated Minecraft experience, with creator events, tournaments and fan meet-ups on 30 and 31 May.

TwitchCon Europe brings Minecraft to Rotterdam

ROTTERDAM, 14 April 2026 – Twitch is adding a major Minecraft presence to TwitchCon Europe this spring, with two days of live experiences, creator events and fan meet-ups in Rotterdam. The new programme runs on 30 and 31 May and marks the first dedicated Minecraft at TwitchCon Europe experience.

The event is being developed with Mojang Studios, the team behind Minecraft, and will expand the game’s presence across TwitchCon Europe 2026 with in-person activations designed around creators, viewers and the wider community.

For Rotterdam, that means one of the biggest names in gaming culture is getting a visible role inside one of the city’s growing international events calendar. TwitchCon has already become a recurring stop here, and this year’s Minecraft focus adds a fresh draw for gaming fans travelling to the city.

Minecraft takes over TwitchCon Europe

According to Twitch, Minecraft will appear across multiple parts of the event, including the Minecraft Arena, the Rivals Arena and the Glitch Theatre Creator Stage. The wider set-up is expected to include interactive biomes, exclusive giveaways and community meet-ups.

That suggests visitors can expect more than a themed corner or a few stage appearances. Twitch is framing Minecraft as a full in-person environment inside TwitchCon Europe, with fan activity spread across the site.

Creator events and live tournaments

The programme will also feature appearances by well-known Minecraft streamers, with Twitch highlighting names including Tubbo, Aimsey, Couriway, owengejuiceTV, Bekyamon, 4cvit and avidmc. Planned moments include live tournaments and panel sessions.

One of the headline events is The Midoffs Live presented by Tubbo, which brings Tubbo and other creators together for an in-person Minecraft speedrunning tournament. Twitch says the format will centre on fast competition, unpredictable moments and close fan interaction, which should make it one of the more energetic parts of the weekend.

Rotterdam hosts another major TwitchCon moment

Mary Kish, Head of Community Marketing at Twitch, said: “Minecraft has been a huge part of the Twitch community for years, so bringing it to TwitchCon Europe felt like a natural fit. TwitchCon is all about bringing creators and their communities together in person, and we’re excited to see that come to life through special meet and greets, community meetups, competitions, and more. Can't wait for everyone to experience what we've got planned.”

TwitchCon Europe returns to Rotterdam for the third year in a row, continuing the city’s role as a host for major creator and gaming events. Twitch describes the convention as the largest dedicated in-person event for the streaming community, bringing together creators and fans from around the world.

What this means for Rotterdam visitors

If you are planning to be in Rotterdam at the end of May, this adds another reason to keep an eye on TwitchCon Europe’s schedule. Minecraft has long been one of the platform’s most watched and most recognisable communities, so its expanded presence is likely to be one of the weekend’s biggest crowd-pullers.

Twitch says more schedule updates are still to come, which means the Rotterdam edition may yet add further creator appearances and Minecraft programming before the event opens.
