HAPPENING 7 MAR '26 | Want to see Rotterdam’s museums, galleries and cultural spaces at their most alive, after hours, with performances, talks, workshops and parties woven through the night? Museumnacht010 is the city-wide ticket that lets you build your own route across Rotterdam in one evening.
When is the next Museum Night in Rotterdam?
Museumnacht010 takes place on Saturday 7 March 2026, with participating venues open from 20:00 to 01:00. Rotterdam's Museum Night always takes place on the first Saturday in March.
What is Museum Night / Museumnacht010?
Museumnacht010 is Rotterdam’s annual museum night, when 30+ art and cultural institutions stay open late and run a special one night only programme. One ticket gets you into every participating location. It is known as Museumnacht010, a nod to the city’s 010 area code.
Museumnacht010, is a unique opportunity to check out all the art and culture Rotterdam has to offer! Expect to see exhibitions, unique collections, bizarre performances and daring projects at more than 40 museums and cultural institutions in the city. Note that you need to purchase tickets beforehand (before they sell out) to actually gain full access to every location on this night.
What’s new in 2026
This year brings some fresh faces. Fenix joins the line-up on Katendrecht, alongside Studio de Zolder in Middelland and Restaurant MIES, housed in a Bauhaus landmark.
There is also a big new reason to cross the river. The Nederlands Fotomuseum reopens on 7 February 2026 in the Santos warehouse (Pakhuis Santos), in time to become a key stop on your route.

Where can you go?
Museumnacht010 spreads across the city, from Museumpark favourites to new makerspaces and late-night one-offs. Expect names like Kunsthal Rotterdam, the Nederlands Fotomuseum, and many more across 30+ locations. Our advice: pick a neighbourhood to start in, choose three or four places you really care about, then leave one slot open for a detour. That last choice is often where the night turns into a story you end up retelling.
The full programme is already online, and you can filter by location, type and neighbourhood. If you want a few signposts, the listings already include headline moments like live music at the Nederlands Fotomuseum, and late openings and pop-up bars across major venues.
Practical tip: wristbands and entry
Your e-ticket must be exchanged for a wristband. You can swap it on 7 March at participating venues during regular opening hours, and there are also official exchange options listed by the organisers.
