Rotterdam Pride 2027: dates, Pride March & festival

HAPPENING 16–26 SEP '27 | Rotterdam Pride returns from 16 to 26 September 2027 for eleven days of visibility, community, culture, activism and celebration across the city. The overall dates are confirmed, while the 2027 Pride March date and route, Pride Festival location, line-up and detailed programme have not yet been announced.

Rotterdam Pride 2027 dates

Rotterdam Pride 2027 takes place from Thursday 16 to Sunday 26 September. The dates are already listed by Rotterdam Pride on its official website.

The full calendar is still to come. As of 13 October 2026, there is no official 2027 Pride March date or route, no confirmed Pride Festival location or timetable, and no artist line-up.

That distinction matters because the Rotterdam Pride website still contains practical information from the completed 2026 edition in some sections. Details such as Willemsplein, Rotterdam Centraal, 2026 performers and last year's festival times should therefore not yet be treated as plans for 2027.

What is confirmed for 2027?

At this stage, the confirmed information is the eleven-day Rotterdam Pride period from 16 to 26 September 2027.

Rotterdam Pride traditionally brings together events organised by the Pride organisation itself as well as cultural institutions, community groups, makers, businesses and social organisations across the city. Recent editions have included exhibitions, discussions, workshops, sport, nightlife, performances, community activities, a Pride March and an outdoor festival.

We will update this page when the organiser publishes the 2027 Pride March, festival, programme and practical visitor information.

Rotterdam Pride March 2027

The Pride March is expected to remain an important part of Rotterdam Pride, but its 2027 date, starting point, route and times have not yet been officially announced.

Do not use the 2026 route as a travel plan for next year. In the previous edition, the march started from Stationsplein at Rotterdam Centraal and continued through the city to Willemsplein.

The 2026 march used the motto “Pride is still a protest” and focused on equality, visibility, acceptance and safety. More than 3,000 people ultimately joined the procession.

What happened at Rotterdam Pride 2026?

The previous Rotterdam Pride ran from 17 to 27 September 2026 under the artistic direction Queertopia, which imagined queer creativity, freedom and inclusion as an ordinary part of Rotterdam's cultural life.

The edition opened with the launch of the second Qtopia magazine and included a Rotterdam Pride Headquarters at Rotterdam Centraal. Different days there focused on subjects including queer mental health, HIV awareness, generations within the community, trans visibility and BIPOC visibility.

The biggest public day came on Saturday 26 September. More than 3,000 people joined the Pride March, while approximately 10,000 visitors gathered at Willemsplein for the Rotterdam Pride Festival.

Rotterdam Pride Festival 2026

The 2026 Pride Festival took place at Willemsplein after the Pride March. The free outdoor programme began at 13:00 and ran until 22:15.

The line-up featured Berget Lewis, JEA, Babs, Yaro Mila, Child of Destiny, Mandy McCandy, WINE., Gavin Reijnders, Daniel Matthix, Kahorsa, BassBtch and Mika Akela.

Faye Ferry and Lotte van Eijk hosted the festival, House of Holographic Hoes curated the drag programme and PrideCast returned with Sharvin Ramjan hosting conversations around identity, culture, representation and social change.

The 2026 festival site also included an awareness team from Stichting De Veilige Nacht, with a Safe'R Spot where visitors could step away from the crowds or ask for support.

Will the Pride Festival return to Willemsplein?

That has not yet been confirmed for 2027.

Willemsplein hosted the Pride Festival in both 2025 and 2026, but a previous venue is not enough to establish next year's location. We will add the 2027 address and transport information once Rotterdam Pride publishes it.

The same applies to admission. The 2026 Pride Festival was free, while other events during Pride charged admission. No 2027 ticket arrangements should be assumed until the individual programme is announced.

How to plan for Rotterdam Pride 2027

You can already save 16 to 26 September 2027. Everything more specific, including the Pride March, festival, evening events, accessibility arrangements and individual venues, should be checked again once the new programme goes live.

Rotterdam Pride normally publishes events through its central calendar, where individual organisers can provide times, locations, ticket details and accessibility information.

Keep an eye on the official Rotterdam Pride website for the next programme announcements.

How to get there

Rotterdam Pride is a citywide event rather than an activity with one permanent address. The locations for the 2027 Pride March and Pride Festival have not yet been announced, so there is no reliable single route to publish yet.

In 2026, the Pride March started at Rotterdam Centraal and the Pride Festival took place at Willemsplein near the Erasmus Bridge. Treat those locations as previous-edition information until Rotterdam Pride confirms its 2027 plans.
