The Orielles bring their new album Only You Left to Rotown, adding a curious and adventurous edge to Rotterdam’s September concert calendar. The trio from Halifax, England, have built a sound in which indie rock, krautrock, shoegaze and experimental pop drift into each other with a restless sense of imagination.
Their music plays with contrast and friction, looking for shape in a world that often feels chaotic and strange. Fans of Broadcast, Stereolab, Sonic Youth and mary in the junkyard should feel right at home here. For a first taste, try Sunflower Seeds.
