Brògeal bring a lively Scottish and Irish-leaning folk rock sound to Rotown, with a Britpop bite that nods to bands like Arctic Monkeys and Oasis. There’s a real togetherness to how they play, like you’re watching a tight group of friends push the songs forward in the same direction, all at once.

This Rotterdam date also lands around the run-up to their well-received debut album Tuesday Paper Club, recorded on Scotland’s Isle of Lewis in a former fish-processing factory turned studio. It’s an oddly perfect backdrop for their mix of folk warmth and punky indie energy.
