Description

An international music-theatre work in which Cornelia van Nijenrode steps out of a 17th-century painting into a contemporary dialogue on autonomy, gaze and colonial entanglements. Created by Theater Adhoc with New European Ensemble, the piece blends voice, noh, and ensemble to trace resonances between past and present at de Doelen in Rotterdam.
