Sunflower Bean, the New York trio known for their raw yet shimmering indie pop, has grown into a commanding presence on the scene. What began as a promising young band has blossomed into a confident creative force—gritty, untamed and laced with glimmering rock riffs that mesmerise as much as they challenge. Beneath the bravado lies a tender melancholy, often nodding to 60s psychedelia with the occasional touch of sludge.

Their latest release Mortal Primetime, launched in April 2025, marks their fourth album and a turning point. It’s a collection shaped by struggle and renewal—not born from darkness, but from a long, winding road of reflection.
