Dutch saxophonist Yuri Honing, renowned for pushing jazz into new territory, brings his newest project to the stage: Yuri Honing’s Peace Orchestra. Born out of the turbulent post-pandemic period, this ensemble is a sonic exploration of hope, imagination, and unity.

Bringing together top musicians across generations and backgrounds, the Peace Orchestra weaves jazz, pop, rock, electronica and Sufi-inspired motifs into a moving and boundary-blurring debut. The new album, out on 26 September, promises not just comfort—but transcendence.

With a career spanning 50 albums and performances in over 90 countries, Honing has collaborated with legends such as Paul Bley, Pat Metheny, and Charlie Haden. His accolades include multiple Edisons and the prestigious Boy Edgar Prize.
