The Canadian band Daniel Romano's Outfit is shrouded in mystery. Their energetic, melancholic, and uncompromising mix of garage rock, indie rock, and power pop is both ecstatic and menacing, extravagant yet fearless — capable of breaking your heart with a single guitar stroke. Every band member embodies the classic rock star persona: the attitude, the bravado, the outfits, and the sound.
With no less than eleven albums to his name, Daniel Romano has never been one to follow predictable paths. His latest record, Too Hot to Sleep, released in March 2024, reaffirms the band's ongoing artistic evolution. However, one thing remains unchanged: The Outfit's explosive live shows are legendary — sets filled with awe and euphoria that are simply unmissable.
