Holiday on Ice: Cinema of Dreams

Holiday on Ice returns to Rotterdam Ahoy with Cinema of Dreams, a spectacular ice show combining world-class figure skating, cinematic storytelling and breathtaking visual effects. From 31 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, audiences can experience an extraordinary journey through the magic of the movies.

The story begins in an old cinema brought back to life by three friends who dream of making their own films. As their imagination takes over, they become the stars of a dazzling adventure through different movie genres, from action-packed blockbusters and romantic comedies to futuristic science fiction.

A cast of 37 international performers brings these cinematic worlds to life through spectacular figure skating, acrobatics and carefully choreographed routines. Impressive video projections, atmospheric lighting, music and daring stunts transform the ice rink into an ever-changing film set.

Combining technical skating skills with theatrical storytelling, Cinema of Dreams offers a colourful, family-friendly experience filled with movement, emotion and cinematic spectacle. The production is suitable for audiences aged four and above.

Performance dates and times

Holiday on Ice: Cinema of Dreams takes place at Rotterdam Ahoy on the following dates:

• Thursday 31 December 2026: 14:00
• Saturday 2 January 2027: 12:30 and 16:00
• Sunday 3 January 2027: 12:30 and 16:00

Each performance lasts approximately two and a half hours, including an interval. Doors open one hour before the show.

Tickets and practical information

The performances take place in Hall 1 at Rotterdam Ahoy, Ahoyweg 10, Rotterdam, with access via entrance RTM A. Tickets are available in several seating categories, with discounted admission for children aged 4 to 12.

Rotterdam Ahoy is approximately five minutes' walk from Zuidplein metro and bus station. Parking is available at the venue.
