Tasha

New York-based singer-songwriter Tasha brings her beautiful blend of indie folk, soul and intimate storytelling to V11 in Rotterdam on Monday 2 November 2026. Presented by BIRD and V11, the concert promises an evening of warm melodies, delicate arrangements and deeply personal songs aboard Rotterdam's famous red lightship.

Originally from Chicago, Tasha has developed a distinctive sound built around gentle guitar melodies, expressive vocals and thoughtful songwriting. Her music explores love, vulnerability, personal growth and finding moments of happiness in difficult times. Influences from indie folk, soul and alternative pop come together in songs that feel both intimate and emotionally rich.

Her fourth studio album, You Are Spring!, was released in June 2026 through Bayonet Records. Featuring songs such as Spring, Clarion and Special, the record celebrates renewal, hope and the beauty of everyday life. The opening track features contributions from Jamila Woods and L'Rain, while the album's gentle arrangements and layered harmonies reveal a more expansive side of Tasha's songwriting.

Before releasing the album, Tasha also performed in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production Illinoise, inspired by the music of Sufjan Stevens. Her Rotterdam appearance offers an opportunity to experience her songs in the intimate surroundings of V11, where every musical detail can take centre stage.

Tasha performs at V11, Wijnhaven 101, Rotterdam, on Monday 2 November 2026. Doors open at 20:00, with the concert starting at 20:30. Tickets cost €17, including service charges.
