SNAYX

Brighton trio SNAYX comes to Rotown with a collision of post-punk, noise rock, electronic punk and industrial sounds.

The band is preparing to release debut album Greed, a record that pushes beyond the post-punk of its earlier material and brings more electronic influences into the mix. The Prodigy and Gorillaz are among the reference points, but SNAYX still approaches the music with the urgency and attitude of a punk band. Their songs tackle inequality, escapism and social decline without losing the physical energy that drives their live shows.

SNAYX began in Brighton after Charlie Herridge and Ollie Horner accepted their first support slot before they had even written enough music to perform it. A frantic few days produced their first 30-minute set, and the project has since grown into a three-piece with a reputation for intense live performances.
