SevenPaintings, an immersive art-and-dining show in English, starts at Atelier JAQ in Hilton Rotterdam with seven courses inspired by iconic masterpieces.

SevenPaintings launches at Hilton Rotterdam

ROTTERDAM, 23 October 2025 – An immersive art-and-dining show, SevenPaintings, has begun a Rotterdam run at Atelier JAQ in Hilton Rotterdam. The English-language experience pairs seven courses with classic artworks by the likes of Picasso, Michelangelo and Banksy.

What is sevenpaintings

SevenPaintings is an immersive dinner in which each course is linked to a different masterpiece. The experience blends projection, light and sound with a guided narrative, inviting guests to paint, puzzle and take part in the story.

How the evening works

Across roughly two and a half hours, guests move through seven artworks from artists including Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Dalí and Vincent van Gogh. The format is seated dining with coordinated sequences, so arrivals are at fixed times.

Menu and pairing

Courses reference an artist’s place or palette rather than attempting literal replicas. Atelier JAQ offers an optional wine pairing and a small list of cocktails inspired by the featured works. Vegetarian and children’s menus are available on request.

Practical details

The show is in English. Performances currently run on Friday and Saturday evenings from 19:00, with additional dates around the holiday period. Pricing starts at €149 per person; advance booking is advised as many dates are already allocated.

What they say

Ralph van Hattem, F&B Manager at Atelier JAQ, says the kitchen developed dishes that nod to each artist’s context and flavour traditions. “We wanted guests not only to taste but also to experience the idea behind each work,” he notes.
