UCHE YARA comes to Rotown with the BODYSCANNER TOUR 26. Born in Austria, based in Berlin and shaped by Nigerian roots, the artist makes alt-pop that refuses to sit still for even half a second. R&B, punk, electronica and experimental sounds all collide in one clubby, restless live sound.
That mix is exactly what makes UCHE YARA stand out. It can feel gritty, playful, sharp and oddly catchy all at once, which explains why fans of Genesis Owusu, Yves Tumor and Grimes should have plenty to grab onto.
