OtherMother bring their adventurous sound to LantarenVenster as part of the venue’s In The Round series, where live music is performed right in the middle of the audience. With the band placed among the crowd, a DJ on the night and drinks allowed into the room, the concert is designed as a close-up listening experience rather than a standard stage show.

The Austrian trio creates an intense meeting point between rhythm and texture. Arthur Fussy on modular synthesizer, Judith Schwarz on drums and Jul Dillier on piano bring acoustic and electronic sounds together in pulsing, percussive soundscapes. Their free improvisations move between experimental music, free jazz and club culture, with a strong focus on energy, interaction and physical intensity.

With its unconventional line-up and extended playing techniques, OtherMother builds an organic sound world full of unexpected turns. Since 2020, the trio has appeared at festivals and residencies, while debut album metaMorph was released through Viennese label Klanggalerie.
