Morgan Heritage brings modern roots reggae to Annabel
Morgan Heritage comes to Annabel on Monday 25 May 2026 for a Rotterdam show presented in collaboration with BIRD x Annabel. The multi Grammy-winning reggae formation has spent more than three decades shaping modern roots reggae, with deep basslines, warm harmonies and songs rooted in love, justice and unity.
After the passing of lead singer Peetah Morgan, the band entered a new chapter as Morgan Heritage 2.0. With Jemere Morgan, son of Gramps Morgan, stepping forward as the new frontman, the group continues its legacy while bringing fresh energy to the stage.
Expect a night of Jamaican roots, heavy riddims, familiar songs and newer material, all carried by the family feeling that has long made Morgan Heritage such a respected name in reggae. For fans of Chronixx, Damian Marley, Protoje, Burning Spear and Tarrus Riley, this should be firmly on the radar.

Annabel is a vibrant music venue located at Schiestraat 20 in Rotterdam, just a short walk from Rotterdam Central Station. Since its opening in 2015, it has become a hub for live music and nightlife, hosting a wide range of international and local artists across genres like hip-hop, pop, and electronic music. The venue features a main hall with a capacity of 1,200, a smaller hall for more intimate events, and a cosy café with an outdoor terrace. Annabel’s diverse calendar includes concerts, club nights, and other cultural events, making it a key destination for music lovers in the city.
