Bettie Serveert

Dutch indie rock band Bettie Serveert heads to LantarenVenster in Rotterdam for a show that looks back on more than three decades of sharp guitar songs and steady reinvention. What began in the early 1990s as a close-knit group of friends grew into an internationally respected band, helped in no small part by the much-loved debut album Palomine and tours with names such as Dinosaur Jr., Belly and Jeff Buckley.

Led by Carol van Dyk, Bettie Serveert has continued to evolve across albums including Lamprey, Dust Bunnies and Damaged Good, while still adding new material to the mix. Recent singles such as Ta! and Evil Side suggest there is still plenty of life in the band yet. This Rotterdam date promises a set that balances older highlights with newer work, making it a fitting stop for a group whose catalogue has aged with real grace.
