Description

Amsterdam-born, Rotterdam-based jazz collective returns to LantarenVenster with its big band for a dance-floor set that splices funk, jazz, salsa, dance and cumbia. Recent chapters include Electric Monkey Sessions 1 & 2, the electronic-leaning Dansé Dansé, a collaboration with Thierno Koité, and the live release On Tour! while the group now works from a studio by the Maas. Expect horn-driven grooves and percussion-heavy workouts on the Wilhelminapier; this is a mainly standing show with a limited number of balcony seats.
