Amsterdam-based Queen’s Pleasure doesn’t do things halfway. Their indie rock storms ahead like a runaway train — fierce, unstoppable and fuelled by adrenaline. Beneath that raw energy, however, lies an unexpected vulnerability. One track bursts into a wall of shredding guitars and half-screamed vocals, while the next unfolds into a melancholic ballad that slowly rises into pure euphoria.
After two albums, countless TV and radio appearances, sold-out club tours and support shows for acts like Noel Gallagher, Wunderhorse and The Undertones, the band is striking out in a new direction. On their latest work, Queen’s Pleasure explore the edges of modern rock, blending subtle influences from hip-hop and pop. Live, those influences ignite into a storm of passion, energy and brotherhood that’s impossible to resist.
