Indie troubadour returns to the theatre with a deeper, more personal show
Following a successful solo theatre debut in 2024, Blaudzun brings his introspective and emotionally rich performance back to the stage. In this intimate setting, the singer opens up about the stories behind his songs, blending music with personal reflections that are both moving and humorous.
The upcoming 2026 show promises a deeper dive into Blaudzun’s unique world, described by the artist as “a universe of intense music, stuck childhood memories, religious trauma — processed or not — and a passion for cycling and love.” With his distinctive voice and poetic lyrics, Blaudzun offers a concert experience that is as raw as it is uplifting.

Description
The Oude Luxor Theater, originally opened in 1917, is a historic landmark in the heart of Rotterdam. With its classic theater ambiance, it has been a beloved venue for over a century, hosting legendary cabaret performances, stand-up comedy, plays, and intimate musical productions. Despite being severely damaged during World War II, the theater was restored and remains an essential part of Rotterdam’s cultural scene. Seating around 900 guests, the Oude Luxor is cherished for its cozy, nostalgic atmosphere, attracting both established and up-and-coming artists.
