Socks;SportsSocks are Rotterdam’s answer to lo-fi indie art-pop with a twist of bedroom punk and ambient post-punk flair. Their music teeters between discomfort and charm, technical skill and raw amateur energy—capturing the awkward truth of modern youth with equal parts irony and sincerity.

Armed with a DIY mindset, the band has carved out their own niche. Their sound is scrappy but sophisticated, like a handwritten diary turned into a sonic collage.

Their two EPs introduced us to their universe, but 2025 marks the release of their debut full-length: Ironic Songs for a Sincere Generation. Self-described as their most dynamic and honest work to date, it’s the right time to tune in and see what this hometown band has to say.
