TEDxRotterdam 2026: The Meaning of Acceleration

After a seven-year absence, TEDxRotterdam returns to Nieuwe Luxor with The Meaning of Acceleration, a day of talks, performances and conversations about the pace and direction of modern life.

Technology is developing rapidly, working life is changing, and new ideas are reshaping how people live and connect. But is moving faster necessarily the same as making progress? This year's TEDxRotterdam explores that question through perspectives on technology, personal development, leadership and society.

Speakers from different backgrounds share experiences and ideas intended to challenge familiar assumptions and encourage new ways of thinking. The programme also includes live performances, opportunities to meet other attendees and an evening gathering where conversations can continue beyond the auditorium.

The event begins with lunch and registration at noon, followed by the opening programme at 13:00. After the final talks, visitors can join the Ideas & Impact Lounge and an afterparty.

The announced speakers include Ray Klaassens, Claire Boonstra, Joshua Ntalo van Eijndhoven, Indra Diallo, Barbara Poot-Van den Bosch, Samira Bouharrou and Adnan Bourich.
