Description
Tilburg trio Mood Bored brings its new shoegaze-leaning sound to Rotown, with a debut album due in spring 2027.
The band first attracted attention with bright, catchy indie pop, but its sound has grown considerably heavier. New single Skin mixes fuzzy shoegaze guitars with a post-punk bassline while keeping the melodic hooks that have been central to Mood Bored from the start.
The Rotterdam show arrives alongside the trio’s forthcoming album and marks another step in a busy few years that have seen Mood Bored play festivals, support Nation of Language on tour and appear several times on Rotterdam stages. Their new material should appeal to listeners of girl in red, Clairo and Wet Leg, while adding considerably more distortion to the mix.
