Black Box Revelation

Belgian rock duo Black Box Revelation returns to Rotown after ten years, bringing its raw mix of blues, garage rock and heavy fuzz back to Rotterdam.

Jan Paternoster and Dries Van Dijck have spent more than two decades building a sound around pounding drums, gritty guitar riffs and blues-infused rock ’n’ roll. Their upcoming self-titled album adds a new element to that formula, exploring the contrast between analogue grit and an increasingly digital world.

The album arrives on 12 March 2027, just over a week before the Rotterdam concert. Singles including Stronger, I’m Free, All Over You and Wicked show the duo introducing more electronic ideas without abandoning the guitar-driven sound at the heart of the band.

Listeners of The Black Keys, Wolfmother and Royal Blood should find plenty to enjoy here.
