Description
Italian acoustic guitar quartet 40 Fingers comes to de Doelen with virtuosic arrangements of rock classics, pop songs and film music. Using four guitars and 24 strings, the musicians create an unexpectedly full sound that moves from delicate melodies to rhythmic, orchestral passages.
The quartet has attracted a worldwide audience with interpretations of songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody and music from Star Wars. Different playing styles, technical precision and a distinctly Italian flair allow Matteo, Emanuele, Enrico and Andrea to transform familiar compositions without losing their original character.
The Rotterdam concert offers a chance to experience the ensemble’s intricate arrangements and fast-paced interplay live in the Grote Zaal.
