MICH

MICH celebrate their 10th anniversary at Rotown with a night of shoegaze, wave pop and krautrock that proves melancholy can absolutely have a pulse. The Amsterdam band has spent the past decade making music that works just as well for a calm night drive as it does for the dancefloor.

Built around Bastiaan Bosma of Ploegendienst, Piet Parra, Sofie Winterson, Rimer London and Mick Johan, MICH usually record separately on their own little islands. For this anniversary, however, the live band has gone into the studio together to capture the best of their live set.

Their sound sits somewhere between The Cure, DIIV, Slowdive and Beach Fossils: dreamy, restless, slightly gloomy and still very capable of getting bodies moving. Their album Chair appeared in 2025, adding another chapter to a catalogue that keeps drifting between haze and rhythm.
