Description

Tramhaus play a hometown release show at Maassilo, bringing their new album Blister to one of Rotterdam’s biggest club stages. The Rotterdam post-punk band have built a reputation as one of the city’s most explosive live acts, with previous sold-out shows at Rotown, Maassilo and Annabel, plus festival appearances at Best Kept Secret, Lowlands, Down The Rabbit Hole and Grauzone.

On Blister, their second album, Tramhaus process the rush of their rapid rise: endless touring, high expectations and constant pressure. The result is described as urgent, more mature and surprisingly spacious, while still carrying the sharp edges that made the band such a force live.

Expect post-punk and art punk with bite, movement and local pride. Fans of Viagra Boys, IDLES, The Stooges and Shame should know exactly where to be. For a first listen, try Make It Happen.
