12 year anniversary tour
If you like your groove with a bit of smoke in the air, The Preacher Men are bringing exactly that. The trio leans into a warm, bluesy sound that nods to late-night jazz clubs in the deep south of the US, switching easily between moody ballads and more upbeat, rolling grooves.
At the centre is bandleader Efraïm Trujillo on sax, also known for his work with The Ploctones and as musical leader of the Amsterdam Funk Orchestra. Rob Mostert handles the Hammond B3 organ, reportedly playing the pedals barefoot, and drummer Chris Strik completes the engine room, once praised by Slagwerkkrant as “the Netherlands’ most agile drummer”.
