Description

A contemporary big-band project led by saxophonist and composer Marike van Dijk, presenting new works written by the ensemble’s members. The line-up features leading voices from the Dutch and Belgian scenes across saxophones, trombones, trumpets and a rhythm section, with an explicit focus on giving space to emerging female makers. This seated concert takes place at LantarenVenster on Rotterdam’s Wilhelminapier.
