Nona

Dutch soul singer Nona returns to Rotterdam with a concert that promises raw honesty and powerful storytelling. Raised in Uden, she found her way to music after a turbulent youth, spending time in Curaçao and New York, where she worked with producers Likeminds (John Legend, The Roots). Her breakthrough came with the debut album Nona (2019), which earned nominations and festival appearances at Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz, Paaspop and Down The Rabbit Hole.

After breaking ties with her first label and management, Nona reinvented herself in Denmark before signing with V2 Records. Her new chapter focuses on soulful, rock-infused songs, enriched with live instrumentation and her deeply resonant voice. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin and Adele, but also blues icons like Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters, Nona channels timeless influences into fresh, personal music. Her lyrics explore themes of love, loss and resilience, making each performance both intimate and powerful.
