Celebrate Día de Muertos the tropical way with Lo Poloko, a wild band of musical outlaws whose roots span Mexican, Chilean, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese cultures — and whose home base is Rotterdam. These guys don’t just play music — they launch sound grenades filled with cumbia, ska, Balkan brass, rock, reggae, dub and more. If dancing were a survival skill, this night would be your boot camp.

Lo Poloko’s genre-defying energy has already turned many venues upside down, and this November they return to GROUNDS to do it all again. Expect bombastic Latin grooves, hyperactive percussion, and a full-on party atmosphere where every rhythm feels like a last call on the dance floor.

Beyond live performances, Grounds actively contributes to the cultural climate of Rotterdam West by offering a stage for local talents and organising community events. They are also developing a second stage, Lab Grounds, in the historic HBS building in the city centre's Oude Westen district, aiming to transform it into a significant creative hub for musicians and dancers.
