What began as a one-off concert invitation has blossomed into an inspired musical partnership. Pianist Ramón Valle and flugelhorn player Maite Hontelé have since performed across Europe and even recorded an album together in Havana, Cuba. Rooted in the language of Cuban music, their collaboration is a dialogue of shared passion and freedom, fuelled by a mutual love of melody.

Valle is internationally acclaimed for his expressive piano style that fuses Cuban flair with classical precision. Dutch-born Maite Hontelé, who spent years living in Colombia, has released five albums—two of which were nominated for Latin Grammys. With her distinctive salsa-band sound and his soul-stirring phrasing, each concert is a heartfelt exploration of sound and emotion.
