Description
Celebrating 25 years since their breakout debut, the Gipsy Kings return to the stage with frontman Nicolas Reyes to honour a legacy rooted in flamenco, Western pop, and Latin American rhythms. With nearly 20 million albums sold and decades of global touring, the band continues to capture hearts with their evocative sound and deep familial heritage. Led by Reyes and Tonino Baliardo, the group preserves the musical tradition passed down by Nicolas' father, José Reyes.
Originating from the streets of southern France, the Gipsy Kings began performing at weddings and festivals before taking their unique ‘Rumba Gitano’ style to the world stage. Their 1987 debut introduced a mesmerising fusion of flamenco guitars and Latin-infused rumba, giving rise to international hits like Bamboleo, Volare, and a flamenco twist on Hotel California. Their influence extends beyond the charts into pop culture, with features in Toy Story 3 and Dancing with the Stars.
