Gritty poetry and bluespunk rage at Rotown

Postpunk duo BIG SPECIAL take the stage at Rotown with their unmistakable blend of blues-drenched rap, industrial noise, and deeply personal lyricism. Known for their emotionally charged debut Postindustrial Hometown Blues—which broke into the UK Top 40—the band has earned praise for its raw urgency and social critique. With comparisons to Sleaford Mods and Idles, their music merges thunderous drums, searing melodies, and razor-sharp verses that cut through despair with humour and hope.

This performance promises an unfiltered sonic experience, full of energy, introspection and biting wit. BIG SPECIAL are currently working on a follow-up album, and anticipation is high.
