Since forming in 2016, British duo IDER have built a reputation as masterful storytellers, delivering sharp, emotional narratives wrapped in lush vocal harmonies and unpredictable pop. Drawing on a unique blend of British new wave, euphoric electro-pop, and dreamy alt-rock in the spirit of Mazzy Star, their sound feels as cinematic as the stories they tell. With fearless lyrics, they delve into deeply personal explorations of fear, identity, and heartbreak through a distinctly female lens.

Following the success of their debut album Emotional Education (2019), IDER’s latest record Late to the World pushes their sound into new territory. With a style they describe as “bold minimalism,” the album balances grand sonic scope with intentional restraint—juxtaposing lush electronic textures and razor-sharp indie rock.
