Britain’s deadpan master of one-liners Jimmy Carr returns to Rotterdam with brand-new material for his show Laughs Funny. Known for his razor-sharp wit, signature laugh, and unapologetically edgy humour, Carr takes the stage at the Nieuwe Luxor Theater for a night where no topic is too controversial and no punchline too dark.
After opening for comedy giants Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock in 2022 and selling out a string of shows across the Netherlands—including Ahoy and AFAS Live—Carr is far from done. Laughs Funny delivers what he does best: rapid-fire punchlines, brutal crowd work, and zero regard for political correctness.

Opened in 2001, the Nieuwe Luxor Theater is a modern performing arts venue located at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam. Designed by architect Peter Wilson, this striking red theater is known for its contemporary design and large capacity, seating up to 1,500 guests.
